Lidt enig med første indlæg fra Bigfoot, lige bortset fra det naturligvis bør være store Wyandotter !
Det er flotte høns, og store, selv katten var bange for dem, og hanen vejer 3.5 - 4.0 kg,
så de flyver dælme ingen steder. Et æg er på godt 50 gram, så ikke noget små pjat her.
PS. Hey Bigfoot, forstår din kone er vegetar. Slog det lige det ord op i min 1955 udgave,
og der står at ordet vegetar faktisk er af indiansk oprindelse, og nærmest betyder noget i stil
med 'dårlig jæger' , så det er præcis derfor man bliver vegetar !

vi valgte dem i dværg, da vi ikke gider de der store høns. Vi har desuden dværgsilker, som vi var startet med, og så ville størrelsesforskellen være for stor, hvis vi skulle have haft dotterne i stor.
Silkerne gider jeg ikke give penge for igen, så når de falder bort, kommer der ikke nye.
Men vores drive i at have høns, var at vi ikke ville have to høns med samme kulør. Og vi har nu været oppe på 16 høner, med hver sin farve af både silker og dotterne.
Ja vegetar er gammel indiansk for dårlig jæger. Eller Latin for den som ikke kan ramme på jagten.
