Many have had to soldering the fotoresistor. It is a known problem.

Is there any FAQ on the internet, that describes the common problems with this kind of burner?

If not, should we make one - or is it not necessary, because of a only few problems?

While searching for a sparepart foto-resistor i disassembled a 4 EUR nightlight from ikea (OSRAM made).

there is a fotoresistor inside that has almost the same values as the one used in the scotte burner. i think with some adjustement in the scotte control box (hidden menu) it will work!
